St Antony's College Boat Club is the rowing club for members of St Antony's College, Oxford. It was founded in autumn 1981 by postgraduate student Geoffrey Underhill after he found that the college had no boat club. The first men's novice eight raced at Christ Church Regatta that term, and the first women's crew followed for Torpids in 1982.
The club began with a borrowed four, a second-hand eight and a rented rack at Timm's Boathouse. Both early crews qualified for Torpids at their first attempt, establishing men's and women's rowing within the college.
St Antony's now boats from New College Boat House and puts several crews into Torpids and Summer Eights. The college's history records at least 22 sets of blades, awarded when a crew bumps on all four racing days. College fundraising supports coaching, training facilities and periodic boat purchases.
