Community Rowing Club Sydney is a not-for-profit club based at the John Lincoln Boatshed in Tambourine Bay, Riverview, on the Lane Cove River. It shares the boatshed with Macquarie University Rowing Club while developing a new base on Iron Cove.
The organisation began in 2010 as the Balmain Para-Rowing Program after volunteers continued coaching a participant from Balmain Rowing Club's learn-to-row course. That programme later became part of Community Rowing Club, expanding from disability-specific support into an integrated rowing club.
The club says it is home to Australia's largest para-rowing programme, with more than 20 active para rowers recorded on its programme page. Its wider plans cover youth, Indigenous, community and learn-to-row pathways for recreational and competitive rowers.
A 2023 club report records its first NSW state championship and a silver medal in the PR3 Mixed Coxed Four. The crew then prepared to compete at the Australian Rowing Championships in Western Australia.
In April 2025, the South Eastern Planning Panel approved the club's development application for a purpose-built accessible boatshed on Iron Cove. The club is now working through detailed design, construction planning and fundraising; its current learn-to-row programme remains on a waiting-list basis.
