Daramalan College Rowing Club is the school's programme for students in Years 8 to 12, rowing from the Daramalan Boat Shed on Lake Burley Griffin at Black Mountain Peninsula. The College describes a pathway for students who want either school participation or high-level competition.

Daramalan was among the first Canberra schools to row on Lake Burley Griffin and was recorded at the first ACT Head of the Lake in 1966. Rowing ACT also records early success in the Schoolboy Four under coach Brian Martyn, who became a Rowing ACT life member in 1973.

The current rowing facility was built in 1997 after years of fundraising. Before that, the College shared a shed with Black Mountain Rowing Club on Black Mountain Peninsula.

Training starts in Term 4 and runs several times each week before and after school, with crews allocated to boats and sessions. The College transports students between campus and the boat shed for morning and afternoon training.

Daramalan competes at ACT regattas on Lake Burley Griffin, including Head of the Lake and the ACT Schools Championships. Rowing ACT records former students competing for the College and ACT at national school competitions, Australian Championships and NSW Championships.
