Marist College Canberra Rowing Club is the College's school rowing organisation. Its first come-and-try session was held at Canberra Rowing Club in 2010, and Marist students raced locally under the Canberra club banner during the inaugural 2011 season.
The team first competed in Marist colours in 2012, entering local events, the NSW Rowing Championships and NSW Schoolboy Head of the River. By 2015, four members of the founding group had raced at the national championships and three had been selected for the ACT Men's Youth Eight.
Younger Marist rowers begin through a partnership with Lake Tuggeranong Rowing Club. In spring 2019, Marist secured its own home base by leasing shed space from Canberra Girls Grammar School, allowing it to build its fleet.
The club won its first NSW championship in the Under 19 Men's Double Scull in 2022 and its first Australian title in the Under 17 Men's Single Scull in 2024. A former student also won an open national title in the Men's Quad in 2024.
In 2025 the First Schoolboy Quad won the Australian title after recording the fastest Australian schoolboy quad time in its heat. The same crew then raced in the Fawley Challenge Cup at Henley Royal Regatta and reached the final 16 from 72 entries.
