North Shore Rowing Club is at Aquatic Park, 2A Mary Street, Longueville, on the Lane Cove River. Established in 1879, it describes itself as the oldest sporting club on Sydney's north shore and has occupied its present site since 1933.

The club began after public meetings in 1879 to establish rowing on the north side of Sydney Harbour. It later used sites at Lavender Bay and Careening Cove before developing the Longueville training base that became its permanent home.

North Shore is now primarily a masters club, with membership divided evenly between men and women and between competitive and recreational rowers. The shed also houses the rowing programmes of Roseville College and Barker College.

Facilities include a club-owned fleet, rowing ergs, coaching boats and separate men's and women's amenities. A new pontoon has doubled the club's boating capacity, and volunteers manage the club, coach members and maintain its equipment and facilities.

Adult learn-to-row courses run over six consecutive Sundays and do not require prior club membership. North Shore members have competed successfully at state, national, international and Olympic level, while the club also conducts a corporate regatta and an annual row to the weir.
