About this club

Old Ignatians Rowing Club is a current Rowing NSW member club associated with former students of Saint Ignatius' College Riverview. Rowing NSW lists the club among its metropolitan contacts and includes it in the state registration system.

The Old Ignatians' Sporting Association publishes a dedicated rowing contact, and an Old Ignatians' Union report states that old boys can join the rowing club alongside its other alumni sports clubs. Public sources do not state a reliable foundation date for the rowing organisation.

Rowing NSW annual-meeting records list Old Ignatians among its member clubs, and the club was registered at the 2012 New South Wales championships. Published results also show Old Ignatians crews competing at the 2009 World Masters Games in Sydney.

The club contributed to the rowing community's campaign for the Riverview Women's Challenge Cup, first presented at the 2015 Gold Cup Regatta. It is named among the rowing clubs, school committees and individuals who funded the trophy.

Old Ignatians members also supported the 2025 Riverview Gold Cup by working in safety boats and on the organising committee. The evidence confirms an active affiliated rowing club, but not a standalone public website, boathouse address or current programme description.
