Radford College Rowing Program is the school's competitive rowing programme in Canberra. It began in November 1993 with Years 9 and 10 students using an eight and a four borrowed from Black Mountain Rowing Club.

By the end of its first season Radford owned second-hand boats and entered 36 rowers at the Independent Schools Rowing Association regatta in Penrith. The programme moved to the ANU shed in 1994, then to space in the Daramalan shed on Black Mountain Peninsula in 1997, by which point it had ten boats.

Early crews won ACT and ISRA events in doubles, fours, singles and schoolgirl fours. Radford entered 120 rowers at the 2002 ISRA regatta, and a 2019 investment created a new rowing centre with expanded equipment and training infrastructure.

At the 2021 Australian Rowing Championships, Radford won the schoolboy and schoolgirl point scores, four national titles, two silver medals and one bronze. The programme was subsequently selected as one of four national finalists for Rowing Australia's 2021 Club of the Year award.

At the 2025 NSW Schoolboy Head of the River, Radford crews won three gold, three silver and two bronze medals, placing fourth overall and first among ACT schools. The programme also holds a Blessing of the Fleet at the Radford Boatshed to open its season and name new boats.
