Baradene College rowing is affiliated to West End Rowing Club in Auckland, using the club's facilities in Avondale for weekday training on the water and at Mercer for weekend training. The club describes itself as the home of Baradene Rowing.
The programme is for girls and is run by a committee in conjunction with the college. A Learn to Row and Cox programme at the start of Term 3 lets girls try the sport before committing to a season.
Two training camps are held each year. Crews race at regattas through the season, including the North Island Championships and the New Zealand Secondary Schools' Championships at the end of Term 1.
