General-purpose club membership platforms sell breadth. The same system can serve gymnastics, dance, soccer, swimming and a long list of other activities. That range is the main reason to choose one.
If your organization is more than a rowing club, a broad platform can hold everything in one place. A multi-sport association, school with several teams or rec centre gets one member database, one payment setup and one messaging tool. Office staff learn a single system instead of several.
