What documents does a rowing club need?
The working minimum is a risk assessment tied to your own water, a written way to record incidents, a constitution and bylaws, membership and emergency-contact records, a boat and equipment log, and a safe sport policy covering screening for anyone in a position of trust. Line the safety pieces up with Rowing Canada Aviron's guidance and with what your provincial association - Rowing Ontario, Rowing BC, Aviron Quebec and the rest - plus your insurer expect to see if something goes wrong.
